On our Estate in the rugged wilds of south-west Scotland, where nature and beauty reign supreme, we farm an exquisite collection of gourmet mushrooms with care. A multi-generational, family-owned agri-business; our commitment to organic, low-tech, sustainable processes runs deep.
Our mushrooms are a culinary treat – and taste exquisite – because of their exceptionally remote growing conditions, our unhurried and patient processes, and the care that comes with being farmed in small, delicious batches. The UK’s finest restaurants, private chefs, nutritionists, farm shops and award juries laud our mushrooms, and we’re proud that our deeply nourishing, beautiful mushrooms are now accessible to foodies and home-cooks up and down the country.

Yet we’re more than ‘just’ the nation’s leading organic gourmet mushroom farm. We believe that environmental stewardship and social responsibility go hand-in-hand with growing some of the most delicious – and rare – gourmet mushrooms that the UK has seen. Our output is environmentally respectful, carbon footprint minimal and weโre pleased to be certified Soil Association organic.

We do our best to magnify the social impact of our mushrooms too. You’ll find us at exhibitions, festivals and fairs, delighting with our gourmet mushroom displays. You’ll hear us giving talks about how blended mushrooms – nature’s original flavour enhancer – can effortlessly reduce the need for meat and salt and increase flavour and vitamins. You’ll see us in classrooms too, via our one-of-a-kind mushroom curriculum, inculcating a love of well-produced food and mycology in children. And you’ll even see us working alongside partners in the pharmaceutical industry, who use our mushrooms in their supplements and tinctures. By doing our bit, we aim to be the change we need to see.
